Once more we found a recently renovated comfy house. It’s called House G and it’s located in in Geldermalsen, Netherlands. The renovation of the house was finished by Maxwan architects + urbanists. Although they kept the old structure, the house is very comfy and inviting. Let’s see more of the design!
The exterior of the house is covered in a brick façade. The roof uses gable style as the old house design did. A high door with a curved shape on the top will welcome you to enter the house. Going inside you will find an ample combination of traditional and modern design. The roof with its wooden structure gives a more traditional look to the interior. The modern furniture and design used in the room makes a bold contrast in the interior of the house. The kitchen and dining room are decorated in white, with beautiful pendant lamps that will feast the eyes. The modern fire place keeps the spaces warm.
The smart bookshelf on the side of the wooden staircase makes a colorful and lovely decoration for the interior. The wooden flouting staircase will feast everybody’s eyes upon entering the house. The upper floor features a comfy living room with a modern sofa, wooden flooring and a warm rug for you to relax in. The glass windows on the roof level bring natural light in the house, so the interior becomes much brighter and warmer. It is so cozy and inviting, don’t you think?
