A house that can blend with nature is sure lovely to live in. Situated in the seaport city of Duluth, Minnesota, this house design will surely feast your eyes. Originally constructed in the 1880′s, this house was successfully remodeled in 2012 by Salmela Architect under the name Hall House.
This house design features a remarkable green surrounding: grass, plants and trees. Large stones that line up in front of the house form a natural fence. To reach the entrance you walk up a white concrete staircase that crosses the green lawn. This house design features a wooden exterior, which is actually the predominant material. Large glass windows open up the house to the green nature outside. Wooden seats and lounges on the terrace give a comfortable place to enjoy time in the outdoors.
The wooden flooring on the terrace blends perfectly with the green plants in front of it. To give more privacy, wooden blinds are applied on the side of the house to cover the terrace. The warm living room with a comfortable sofa and rug provide a great place to relax and gather around with family or friends. The wide glass windows bring a lot of natural light to the interior which makes the room really bright. The large book shelf on the side of the living room makes a lovely decoration for the room and also provides a spacious place to store your favorite books. This is a truly lovely house design, isn’t it?
